Cll f OF PLEASANTOR <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> DECLARING RESULTS OF SPECIAL ELECTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notice of special election was duly given, voting <br />area properly established, election officers appointed and <br />supplies furnished, the special election held, returns made, <br />and all other requirements for general law cities duly complied <br />with: <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The special municipal election for the uninhabited <br />territory designated as Annexation 17, Stanley Boulevard, <br />Annex "A~, was duly held December 11, 1962, as required by law. <br /> <br /> 2. The following question was submitted to the qualified <br />electors residing in said territory: <br /> <br /> SHALL "ANNEX NO. 17, STANLEY BOULEVARD ANNEX A" <br /> BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON,~ AND THE <br /> PROPERTY IN SUCH TERRITORY BE, AFTER SUCH ANNEXATION, <br /> SUBJECT TO TAXATION EQUALLY WITH THE PROPERTY WITHIN <br /> THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, TO PAY THE ENTIRE BONDED <br /> INDEBTEDNESS OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON OUTSTANDING <br /> OR AUTHORIZED AT THE DATE OF THE FILING OF THE <br /> PETITION FOR ANNEXATION, FOR THE ACQUISITION, <br /> CONSTRUCTION OR COMPLETION OF MUNCIPAL IMPROVEMENTS? <br /> <br /> 3. The total number of votes cast was 36, as follows: <br /> <br /> FOR said annexation: 34 <br /> AGAINST said annexation: 2 <br /> <br /> 4.
