CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03-060 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br />VERIZON WIRELESS FOR DESIGN REVIEW, AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PDR-259 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on March 31, 2003, the Zoning Administrator approved the application of Verizon <br />Wireless to allow the construction of one 60-foot tall monopole with three wireless <br />communication antennas and related equipment located at 3470 Boulder Street; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned I-G-40,000 (General Industrial) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, an appeal of the <br /> Zoning Administrator's decision ws filed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public heating was held before the City Council on May 20, 2003, <br /> at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br /> California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed monopole and related equipment, as <br /> conditioned, are appropriate for the site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves Case PDR-259, the application of Verizon Wireless to allow the <br />construction of one 60-foot tall monopole with three wireless communication <br />antennas and related equipment located at 3470 Boulder Street, subject to the <br />conditions shown in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br />reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
