Proceedings kno~ as "~nexation No. 26, ~ador Valley <br />Annex A", c~enced by Resolution No. 3366, adopted February 18, <br />1963, are hereby cancelled and te~inated, there havi~ been no <br />protests received by the City Clerk. <br /> <br /> 2. ~ese new, ~ended and revised proceedings are in- <br />itiated by the Council of the City of Pleasan~on to annex to the <br />City of Pleasanton all that uninhabited territory described <br />below. ~e Co~cil acts on its o~ motion, pursuant to the <br />"~nexation of ~inhabited Territory Act of 1939", (Sections <br />35300 et seq. of the Govemment Code) as ~ended. <br /> <br /> 3. ~eCity Council does hereby desire to annex said <br />~inhabited territory for the following reasons: <br /> <br /> Said territory is contiguous to the City, a <br /> part of the enlargened General Plan, and one <br /> of a series of annexations necessary in ex- <br /> panding the City Boun~ries to the north. ~e <br /> area can be served by City sewer and water, and <br /> is the next logical step in the city's growth. <br /> <br /> 4. Said ~inhabited territory is situated in the To,ship <br />of Pleasanton, County of Al~eda, State of Califomia, is furthe~ <br />desi~ated as "~nexation No. 26-A, ~ador Valley Annex A-i", <br />and described as follows: <br /> <br /> SEE EXHIBIT '~A" ATTAC~D HERETO ~D <br /> ~E A P~T HE, OF. <br /> <br /> 5. ~e Boundary Co~ission of Al~eda County, California, <br />approved the above described and proposed boundaries of said <br />territory, as follows: <br /> <br />- 1- <br /> <br /> <br />
