OF CALIFOk;NIA <br /> <br />3.364 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS <br />INITIATED BY COUNCIL, AND GIVING NOTICE OF <br />PROPOSED ANNEXATION DESIGNATED: <br /> <br />ANNEXATION NO. 24~ FOOTHILL ANNEX C <br /> <br /> The City Gouncil in the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br />RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. These proceedings are initiated by the Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton to annex to the City of Pleasanton all that <br />uninhabited territory described below. The Council acts on its <br />own motion, pursuant to the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory <br />Act of 1939", (Sections 35300 et seq. of the Government Code) as <br />amended. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council does hereby desire to annex said unin- <br />habited territory for the following reasons: <br /> <br /> Said territory is contiguous to the City, a <br /> part of the enlargened General Plan, and one <br /> of a series of annexations necessary in ex- <br /> panding the City boundaries to the north and <br /> to the west. The area can be served by city <br /> sewer and water, and is the next logical step <br /> in the city's growth. <br /> <br /> The owners of most of the territory have the <br /> desire to develop their land, and have requested <br /> the City in writing that these proceedings be <br /> initiated. <br /> <br /> 3. Said uninhabited territory is situated in the Township <br />of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of Califc~ nia, and is <br />further designated and described as follows: <br /> <br /> SEE EXHIBIT 'A", ATTACHED HERETO AND <br /> MADE A PART HEREOF. <br /> <br /> 4. The Boundary Commission of Alameda County, California, <br />approved the above described and proposed boundaries of said <br />territory, as follows: <br /> <br /> Report and Recommendation No. 758 dated <br /> February 18 , 1963. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
