CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF <br /> STATE OF CALiFORNiA <br /> <br />ESTABLISHING A POLICY FOR PAYMENTS ON <br />PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS <br /> <br />RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council does hereby establish as the <br />policy of the City of Pleasanton the practice of making progress <br />payments to contractors on public works projects before the <br />tenth (10th) day of each month. <br /> <br /> 2. The purpose of this policy is to allow contractors <br /> <br />to obtain discount from their suppliers, <br />payments before the 10th of each month; <br />lower bids to the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />by receiving their <br />thereby resulting in <br /> <br /> 3.
