CITY OF PLc ..AN, <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING STREET NAME CHANGES; <br />PLw-&SANTON-SUNOL ROAD to SUNOL BOULEVARD and <br />MINNIE STREET to PICO AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a portion of County Road No. 819, Pleasanton- <br />Sunol Road, and a portion of that certain traveled way known <br />Minnie Street have recently become a part of the City of <br />Pleasanton street system through annexation; and <br /> <br />as <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of maintaining street <br />names in the city which are, wherever possible, simply pronounced <br />and spelled and reflective of historical values; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton does hereby designate the following street <br />name changes-. <br /> <br /> 1. The Pleasanton-Sunol Road (formerly County Road No. 819' <br />within the Pleasanton dity limits, be and is hereby designated <br />as - SUNOL BOULEVARD. If, in the future, other portions of the <br />Pleasanton-Sunol Road become city streets in the City of Pleasant <br />these portions shall also be designated SUNOL BOULEVARD. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain traveled way known as Minnie Street, <br />within the Pleasanton city limits, be and is hereby designated <br />as - PICO AVENUE. If, in the future, a dedicated city street is <br />constructed upon the general easterly alignment of Minnie Street, <br />or any extension thereof to Vineyard Avenue, this city street, <br />upon dedication and acceptance by the city, shall also be <br />designated as PICO AVENUE. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is instructed <br />to forward certified copies of this resolution to the Alameda Cour <br />Board of Supervisors, pursuant to Section 34092, Government Code, <br />State of California, and any other interested parties. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED: July 1, 1963. i~ /'~ ~,.~.~..~ .~ /,~ ..~ <br /> ./JOHN L.
