CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> OOUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STAEE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />,RESOLUTION NB. <br /> <br />8431 <br /> <br />REQUESTING APPROPRIATION OF $2,000,000.00 <br />FOR ALAMEDA CREEK FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT <br /> FOR FISCAL YEAR 1964-65 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the engineering design work on the Alameda Creek <br />Flood Control Project may be substantially completed with the <br />fiscal year 1964-65 funds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton and Eastern Alameda County <br />is vitally interested in this important flood control project and <br />its ~arly completion; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the rate of progress on said engineering design <br />work will justify the appropriation request of $2,000,000.00 <br />for the fiscal year 1964-65; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council does hereby support an appropriation <br />request of $2,000,000.00 of federal funds for fiscal year <br />1964-65 for the flood control project on Alameda Creek, Alameda <br />County, California, to complete engineering design, start <br />construction work and start federal payments on the Arroyo del <br />Valle Reservoir. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Clerk shall send copies of this resolution <br />to interested Congressional Committees, Senators, Representative~ <br />state and local agencies, including County of Alameda and <br />California Department of Water Resources. <br /> <br />ADOPTED: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />September 23, 1963. ~ <br /> <br /> - / JOHN R.
