CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 3428 <br /> <br />ACCEPTING THE IMPOSITION OF ADDITIONAL HIGHWAY <br />USERS TAXES AND FEES PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 1852, <br />STATUTES of 1963. <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. To comply with the provisions of Section 10.2 <br />of the Collier-Unruh Local Transportation Development Act <br />(Streets and Highways Code Section 186.1), the City of Pleasantom <br />hereby adopts as a Resolution approving the imposition of ad- <br />ditional highway users taxes and fees pursuant to said Act. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. The City desires apportionments to be made to <br />it in accordance with provisions of said Section of the Act and <br />is aware of the necessity of conforming to the matching require- <br />ments prescribed by Section 14 of said Act (Streets and Highways <br />Code Section 186.5). <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. Ail monies received by the City from the State <br />under the provisions of Section 10.2 of said Act shall be paid <br />into the Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund and expended <br />exclusively for acquisition of rights-of-way for and constructio~ <br />of routes on the select system of city streets established as <br /> <br />provided in Section 12 of said Act (Streets and Highways Code <br />Section 186.3). <br /> <br /> SECTION 4. In compliance with said Act the City Clerk is <br />directed to send a properly certified copy of this Resolution <br />tO the Departmen~ of Public Works at Sacramento, California. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED: September 3, 1963. <br /> <br /> / JOHN L.
