CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> BOUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> ~SDLUTIDN NO. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS <br /> INITIATED BY COUNCIL, AND GIVING NOTICE OF <br /> PROPOSED ANNEXATION DESIGNATED: <br /> <br /> ".ANNEXATION NO. 29~ PLEASANTON-SUNOL ANNEX '~" <br /> <br /> The City Council in the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br /> RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. These proceedings are initiated by the Council of the <br /> City of Pleasanton to annex to the City of Pleasanton all that <br /> uninhabited territory described below. The council acts on its <br /> own motion, pursuant to the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory <br /> Act of 1939, (Sections 35300 et seq. of the Government Code) <br /> as amended. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council does hereby desire to annex said un- <br /> habited territory for the following reasons: <br /> <br /> Said territory is contiguous to the City~ <br /> and one of a series of annexations necessary <br /> in expanding the City boundaries to the south. <br /> The area can be served by city sewer and water <br /> and is the next logical step in the city's growth. <br /> <br /> 3. Said uninhabited territory is situated in the Township <br /> of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, and is <br /> further designated and described as follows: <br /> <br /> SEE EXHIBIT ~ ATTACHED HERETO AND <br /> MADE A PART HEREOF. <br /> <br /> 4. The Boundary Co~,~ission of Alameda County, California, <br /> approved the above described and proposed boundaries of said <br /> territory as follows: <br /> <br /> Report and Recommendation No. 795 dated August <br /> 15, 1963. <br /> <br /> 5. The time and place is hereby fixed when and where any <br />person owning real property within the uninhabited territory <br />described above and proposed to be annexed to theCity of <br />Pleasanton~ and having any objections thereto, may appear before <br />the Council and show cause why such annexation should not take <br />place, to wit: <br /> <br /> <br />
