RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OF BONDS, ASSESSMENT <br /> DISTRICT NO. 63-1~ CITY OF PLEASANTON, ALAMEDA <br /> COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasmnton, Alameda <br />County, California, has received a written proposal by S. C. POHLMAN <br />COMPANY offering to purchase improvement bondsto be issued by the <br />City of Pleasanton to represent unpaid assessments levied pursuant <br />to Resolution of Intention No. 3452, adopted by this City Council <br />of the City of Pleasanton on the 14th day of November, 1963, for <br />the payment of the c0mstruction and acquisition of improvements <br />in Assessment District No. 63-1, and all of the incidental expenses <br />in connection therewith; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this City Council that the <br />public interest and convenience will be served by accepting theoffer <br />of the said S. C. POHLMAN COMPANY of November 4, 1963, and will also <br />be served by selling the bonds at the price therein named; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton that said proposal of November 4, 1963, of S. C. <br />POHLMAN COMPANY be, and the same is hereby, accepted and that said <br />bonds be, and they are hereby ordered sold to S. C. POHLMAN COMPANY <br />in the amount and subject to the terms and conditions stated in the <br />bid of the said S. C. POHLMAN COMPANY of November 4, 1963; and <br /> <br /> BE'IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the interest rate of said bonds <br />be, and the same is hereby, fixed at the rates set forth in said bid; <br />and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said bonds shall be dated the <br />2nd day of February, 1964, and shall bear interest from said date; and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the maturity schedule of bonds to <br />be issued in shall be as shown in the attached schedule marked <br />"Exhibit A" which is by this reference incorporated herein and made <br />a'part hereof. <br /> <br /> <br />
