CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAbIEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1059 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF SHELL OIL CO[~ANY <br /> TO REZONE APPROXI~IATELY 1.2 ACRES AT SOUTHEAST <br /> CORNER OF HOPYARD ROAD AND JOHNSON DRIVE FROM <br /> "C-F" (COMMERCIAL FREEWAY) DISTRICT TO THE PUD <br /> (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT)-COMR~ERCIAL DISTRICT <br /> AND FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A 2,830 <br /> SQ. FT. SERVICE STATION FACILITY INCLUDING <br /> A CONVENIENCE MARKET AND AUTOMATIC CAR WASH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Shell Oil Company applied for development plan <br /> approval for construction of a 2,830 sq. ft. <br /> service station facility including a convenience <br /> market and automatic car wash and to rezone the <br /> approximately 1.2 acre site at the southeast corner <br /> of Hopyard Road and Johnson Drive from "C-F" <br /> (Commercial Freeway) Distri&t to the PUD (Planned <br /> Unit Development)-Commercial District; and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, this is a reconstruction of the service station <br /> due to the realignment of Johnson Drive and as <br /> a reconstruction is therefore categorically <br /> exempt under CEQA and no environmental documents <br /> are necessary for this approval; and <br /> <br />~RiEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommend- <br /> ation for approval of the development plan and <br /> rezoning; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS,a duly noticed public hearing was held on November 9, <br /> 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan <br /> and rezoning is consistent with the General Plan <br /> policies of the City of Pleasanton~ <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY <br /> ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the development plan for construction of a <br /> 2,830 sq. ft. service station facility including a <br /> convenience market and automatic car wash, subject <br /> to the conditions on Exhibit "A" attached hereto <br /> and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 1.2 acre <br /> site at the southeast corner of Hopyard Road and <br /> Johnson Drive from "C-F" (Commercial Freeway) District <br /> to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Commercial District. <br /> <br /> <br />
