ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> GRANTING PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS TO DSRSD, PG&E AND AT&T WITHIN <br /> PORTIONS OF THE PARKING LOT AT VAL VISTA PARK, AND DIRECTING THE <br /> EXECUTION OF A RELATED COST ALLOCATION AGREEMENT WITH DSRSD <br /> WHEREAS, the Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) has been undertaking <br /> improvements to its Wastewater Treatment Plant at Johnson Drive in Pleasanton and desired to <br /> underground PG&E electrical lines and AT&T phone lines for aesthetics and reliability; however, <br /> these utility lines could not be undergrounded on the DSRSD site due to conflicts with DSRSD's <br /> pipes, so DSRSD has asked the City to grant easements to PG&E and AT&T to allow these <br /> utilities to underground their lines in areas of the parking lot at Val Vista Park; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City is willing to grant such easements because they do not create any <br /> conflicts with the use of the parking lot, but subject to DSRSD agreeing to pay for any relocation <br /> costs if a future public project requires the easements to be re-located. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Grants Public Service Easements to DSRSD, PG&E and AT&T in <br /> generally the form attached as Exhibits A, B and C, respectively; and directs the City Manager <br /> to execute these easements and have them recorded. <br /> SECTION 2. Directs the City Manager to enter into a Cost Allocation Agreement for <br /> Public Service Easements with DSRSD to require DSRSD to pay for any relocation of the <br /> above-mentioned easements it needed for a public project. <br /> SECTION 3.
