ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> This First Amendment to Agreement ("First Amendment") is entered into this 19th day of July, 2011 by <br /> the City of Pleasanton ("City") and T.Y. LIN INTERNATIONAL ("Consultant") <br /> Whereas, on July 20, 2010 the City and Consultant entered into an Agreement for Professional <br /> Services ("Agreement") for the preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) and <br /> Environmental Certifications for the I-580 Interchange Improvements at Foothill Road (Agreement 10- <br /> 663C); and <br /> Whereas, additional retaining wall design and supplemental traffic forecasts are required to <br /> complete the project and are not included in the aforementioned Agreement; and <br /> Whereas, the parties desire to amend to the Agreement; <br /> Now, therefore, in exchange for valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, <br /> the parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Consultant shall complete the retaining wall design and supplemental traffic forecasts as <br /> outlined in Exhibit A. <br /> 2. The expiration date listed under Section 3 "Terms" of the Agreement shall be extended to <br /> October 31, 2012. <br /> 3.
