ATTACHMENT 5 <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> INITIAL STUDY AND PROPOSED MPfIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> FOR THE 1623 Cindy Way (PRZ-59) <br /> June 1, 2011 <br /> An Initial Study has been prepared under the direction of the City of Pleasanton Department of <br /> Planning and Community Development regarding an application submitted by Lynn Jansen to rezone <br /> an approximately 3-acre portion of the existing approximately 4-acre at 1623 Cindy Way from A <br /> (Agriculture) District to PLD-NIDR (Planned Unit Development— Medium Density Residential) <br /> District. With the proposed rezoning, the applicant intends to relocate the existing home. <br /> Based upon the following Initial Study that evaluated the environmental effects of the proposed project, <br /> the City of Pleasanton has found that the proposed project (including any mitigation measures that <br /> would be incorporated into the project) would not have a significant effect on the environment. The <br /> City of Pleasanton has concluded, therefore, that it is not necessary to prepare an Environmental Impact <br /> Report for this project. <br />
