ATTACHMENT 2 <br /> RESOLUTION NO.XXX <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE REQUESTED REZONING <br /> FROM LYNN JANSEN, AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ-59 <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting July 19, 2011 , the City Council received a proposed <br /> Negative Declaration for the requested rezoning from Lynn Jansen to rezone an <br /> approximately three (3) acre portion of an existing approximately four (4) acre parcel; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated June <br /> 1, 2011, and received the recommendation of the Planning Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 19, 2011, at which <br /> time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of <br /> the proposed rezoning; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance <br /> with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning will have no <br /> potential for adverse impacts on the state's wildlife; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DELCARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER <br /> THE FOLLOWING: <br /> Section 1. Approves the Negative Declaration for PRZ-59. <br /> Section 2. The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be <br /> filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> Section 3. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it <br /> into the book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton at a regulation meeting held on July 19, 2011. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the <br /> foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on July <br /> 19, 2011, by the following vote: <br />
