CiTY OF PLEASANTO?] <br /> COUNTY OF ALAIVlEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />I~"$OLUTION NO._~ ~ 0 7 <br /> <br />URGING CAUTION AS TO LEGISLATIVE <br />PROGRAMS INCREASING WELFARE COSTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton views <br />with alarm the continued liberalization of extending the <br /> <br />welfare program and the continuing increasing costs; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council of the City of Pleasanton requests <br />the members of the Alameda County delegation to exercise great <br />caution in all matters of welfare legislation that would <br />extend benefits under existing programs and the resulting <br />increase in costs. <br /> <br /> 2) Copies of this resolution will be sent to all interested <br />agencies and officials. <br /> <br /> DATED: April 13, 1964. <br /> <br /> /OHN L.
