CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1054 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SEWER SERVICE FEES <br /> AND SEWER CONNECTION FEES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Health and Safety Code §5471 authorizes collection <br /> of fees for sewer service and Health and Safety <br /> Code §5474 authorizes sewer connection fees. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: The sewer connection fees and sewer service <br /> charges shall be as shown on Exhibit "A" attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> Section 2: Title II, Chapter 8, Articles 1 and 2 are hereby <br /> amended by substituting therein the word "ordinance" <br /> wherever the word "resolution" now appears. <br /> Section 3: All prior resolutions or ordinances which are <br /> inconsistent with the fee schedule shown herein <br /> are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 4: This ordinance is declared to be an urgency <br /> ordinance and shall be introduced, adopted and <br /> take effect upon the date of its passage. This <br /> ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation <br /> of the public peace, health and public safety in <br /> that operation of the sewer system requires <br /> financial support and this ordinance achieves <br /> technical compliance with the mandates of state <br /> law. <br /> Section 5: This ordinance shall be published once within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley <br /> Times," a newspaper of general circulation published <br /> in the City of pleasanton. <br /> INTRODUCED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council <br /> of the City of pleasanton on October 12, 1982 by the following <br /> vote; <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None 'E~~.BU~Y <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ROBE OR <br /> <br /> <br />
