RESOLUTION NO. 3502 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF iNTENTION TO AMEND RESOLLTiON ~' INTENTION <br />ASSESS!dENT DISTRICT NO. 64-1, ~%SSION PARK ASSESSmeNT <br />DISTRICT NO. 2, CITY OF PLEASANTON, COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />~EREAS~ pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Improve- <br /> <br />ment Act of 1913, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, on the <br /> <br />24th day of February, 1964, passed its Resolution of Intention No. <br /> <br />3492, Assessment District No. 64-1, Mission Park Assessment District <br /> <br />No. 2, City of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, which <br /> <br />said Resolution of Intention provided with relation to the bonds to be <br /> <br />issued in said proceedings as follows: <br /> <br /> "NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that serial bonds to represent <br />unpaid assessments, and bearing interest at the rate of f~ve <br />per cent (5%) for the first to the twelfth maturity, and at <br />the rate of five and one-quarter per cent (5-1/4%) for the thir- <br />teenth to the twentieth maturity, shall be issued herein in the <br />~nanner provided by Division 10 of the Streets and Highways Code, <br />the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, the last installment of which <br />shall manure nineteen (19) years from the 2nd day of July next <br />succeeding ten (10) months from their date." <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of <br /> <br />Pleasanton that the proceedings be amended to provide for alternative <br /> <br />procedure for pre-payment of 1915 Act bonds; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Pleasanton that it is the intention of said City Council to <br /> <br />amend the Resolution of Intention with respect to the bond clause there- <br /> <br />in contained to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that serial bonds ~o represent <br />unpaid assessments~ and bearing interest at the rate of five <br />per cent (5%) for the first to the twelfth maturity, and a~ <br />~he rate of five and one-quarter per cent (5-1/4%) for the <br />thirteenth to the twentieth maturity, shall be issued herezn <br />in the mmnner provided by Division 10 of the Streets and High- <br />ways Code, the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, the last install- <br />ment of which shall mature nineteen (19) years from the 2nd <br />day of July next succeeding ten (10) months from their date~ <br /> <br /> "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the procedure for collecting <br />assessments and r~quirements for the advance retirement of <br />bonds shall be taken as provided in Part 11.1 (commencing <br />with Section 8760), Division 10, of the Streets and Highway:-~ <br />Code of the State of California (improvement Bond Act of 19~.~ <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Monday, the 20th day of April, <br /> <br />1964, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day, at the meeting <br /> <br />place of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, located in the <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
