• Includes $435,000 Old Stanley Road Reconstruction and Undergrounding Reserve which will <br /> increase the existing reserve to $2,146,031. Total cost for the entire project, including <br /> undergrounding of utilities is $5.2 million. Staff is continuing to pursue grants and other <br /> sources to complete the entire project. <br /> • Includes $979,100 for the I-580 at Foothill Road Improvement Phase 3. As detailed in the <br /> project description sheet on page 36, the funding for this year is part of the project's overall <br /> cost of$3.36 million. Phase 1 which is complete included the preparation of an initial Project <br /> Study Report and environmental documents. Phase 2, which is expected to be completed by <br /> the end of this calendar year, includes preparation of the construction design and <br /> specifications. Phase 3 includes project construction. To complete Phase 3, additional <br /> funding is needed from other sources. At this time, staff anticipates receipt of that funding but <br /> it is not included in the CIP. <br /> It should be noted that this CIP does not include funding for Phases I and II for the 1-680 <br /> Intersection Improvements project that includes a second westbound left turn lane onto <br /> Southbound 1-680 along with additional improvements on the ramps and along Bernal Avenue. <br /> Phase I involves design and Phase II is construction. The project is pending full funding and <br /> additional specifications. <br /> • Includes $651,715 for installation of bicycle and pedestrian improvements at various locations <br /> based on need and recommendations for City commissions, committees and staff. <br /> • A total of $200,000 for street repairs at West Las Positas and Tassajara Street to address <br /> roadway settlement. <br /> • As mentioned above, this CIP includes the following five projects regarding Staples Ranch. <br /> Project Details are listed on Project Description Sheets in the Streets Section: <br /> SUMMARY OF STAPLES RANCH PROJECTS _ <br /> Title _ Description Cost/Year Pare# <br /> Irrigation and Landscaping Provides landscaping and irrigation $350,000 39 <br /> Improvements at El Charm using reclaimed water to the south/west FY 201112 <br /> Road and I-580 quadrant.
