EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES FIRST RIISPONJER ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT AGREEMENT (REV 2/17/11) <br /> b. The PCR shall be completed and made available to County EMS prior to the end of shift <br /> but no later than 24 hours following the call. <br /> 9.4 Data Collection System for Patient Care Reports <br /> a. Contractor shall ensure its employees are trained on the Data Collection System <br /> described in EXHIBIT G - EQUIPMENT LOAN AGREEMENT. <br /> b. The data collection system shall be NEMSIS (National EMS Information System) <br /> compliant. <br /> SECTION 10 - MEDICAL OVERSIGHT/COMPLIANCE WITH MEDICAL PROTOCOLS <br /> 10.1 The EMS Medical Director shall provide medical oversight to the Contractor's paramedics <br /> and EMTs on issues relating to patient care in collaboration with Contractor's Medical <br /> Director in those Departments where there is a Medical Director. <br /> 10.2 Contractor shall comply with medical protocols, online medical control, and other <br /> requirements as established by the County EMS Medical Director, and/or provided by the <br /> County (e.g.: Base Hospital services, authority to perform certain medical interventions, <br /> etc.). <br /> SECTION 11 - CONTRACTOR SUPPORT <br /> 11.1 Contractor shall be compensated for FRALS Services on a per unit basis as defined in EXHIBIT <br /> E-BASIC SUBSIDY FOR FIRST RESPONDER ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT SERVICES. Funding shall be <br /> increased 3% per year for the term of the Agreement, beginning July 1, 2012. It is agreed by <br /> Contractor and the County that under this agreement 1% of the increase will be set aside in <br /> an account created by the County for eventual increases in the number of FRALS units or <br /> other projects that enhanced Fire EMS response. The use of funds from the 1% set-aside <br /> account shall be reviewed by a panel of three, including the EMS Director and two fire chiefs <br /> selected by the Alameda County Fire Chiefs Association not involved in the matter being <br /> considered for funding. <br /> 11.2 Other than invoicing County, as described in EXHIBIT E, Contractor shall not bill for any <br /> medical First Responder services unless approved by the County Board of Supervisors. <br /> SECTION 12 - VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT <br /> 12.1 In compliance with Exhibit G, Contractor, shall acquire and maintain FRALS units and on- <br /> board medical supplies and equipment, to be used to perform FRALS services. <br /> Page 9 of 26 <br />
