EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES FIRST RESPONDER ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORI AGREEMENT (REV 2/17/11) Medical Priority Dispatch The system that categorizes emergency calls using an escalating scale of severity assigned to System ("MPDS") medical conditions, relative to the level and timeliness of response. Multi-Casualty Incident A Multi-Casualty Incident(MCI) is any incident where the number of injured persons exceeds ("MCI") the day-to-day operating capabilities and requires additional resources and/or the distribution of patients to multiple hospitals. Mutual-Aid Emergency service performed by neighboring providers during periods of severe weather, multi-casualty incidents, or other events that overwhelm existing resources. Paramedic As defined in California Health and Safety Code, Division 2.5, §1797.84. PCR Patient Care Record, in either print or electronic form.
