o. drive-in restaurants <br /> p. stone and monument yards <br /> q. commercial storage yards <br /> r. mobile home sales <br /> s. truck and trailer sales <br /> <br /> Such uses shall require design review and/or <br /> use permit approval pursuant to the procedures <br /> of this chapter. <br /> <br /> (2) Temporary outdoor uses may be permitted <br /> pursuant to Section 2-10.25 of Article 21 <br /> (Temporary Uses) of this Chapter. <br /> <br />Section 2: Article 11 (Public and Institutional District), <br /> Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development) <br /> of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is <br /> amended by adding subsection 2-7.45 to read as <br /> follows and renumbering the remaining sections. <br /> <br />§2-7.45 Temporary Conditional Use. The following conditional <br /> use shall be permitted upon the granting of a <br /> temporary conditional use permit in accord with <br /> the provisions of §2-10.25, Article 21 (Temporary <br /> Uses) of this chapter: <br /> <br /> outdoor sales in City parks to Benefit only <br /> charitable or nonprofit organizations. <br /> <br />Section 3: Article 21 (Temporary Uses), Chapter 2 (Zoning), <br /> Title II (Zoning and Development) of the Ordinance <br /> Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended by <br /> adding subsection 2-10.25 as follows: <br /> <br />§2-10.25 Outdoor Sales. Temporary outdoor display and/or <br /> sale of merchandise or services meeting the following <br /> requirements shall be permitted upon the granting <br /> of a temporary use permit in accordance with the <br /> provisions of §2-11.18 of this chapter. <br /> <br /> a. Outdoor display and/or sale of merchandise <br /> shall be done as part of a business district <br /> or shopping center event or to benefit charitable <br /> or nonprofit organizations. No outdoor sales <br /> by businesses on an individual basis shall be <br /> allowed. <br /> <br /> b.Temporary outdoor sales shall not last longer <br /> than three days. <br /> <br /> c. No more than four events per year featuring <br /> outdoor sales shall be held by any individual <br /> business district or shopping center, except <br /> that outdoor sales events benefitting charitable <br /> or nonprofit organizations shall not count <br /> toward the four event limit and shall not be <br /> limited in number. <br /> <br /> -2- <br /> <br /> <br />
