CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFO~]IA ORDINANCE NO. 1049 AN ORDINAHCE RELATING TO P~STAURANTS AS CONDITIONAL USES IN THE C-S (COmmeRCIAL SERVICE) ZONING DISTRICT AMENDING SECTION 2-7.08 (PE~.{ITTED AND CONDITIONAL USES), ARTICLE 8 (C COmmeRCIAL DISTRICTS), CHAPTER 2 (ZONING), TITLE II (ZONING A~D DEVELOP}~NT) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Subsection a., Section 2-7.08 (Permitted and Conditional Uses), Article 8 (C Connnercial Districts), Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended to add restaurants and soda fountains both including and not including drive-ins or take-out food establishments as conditional uses in the C-S (Commercial Service) District as follows: CR* CR** CN CC CS CF CA _ (m) (p) -Restaurants and soda fountains not including drive-ins or take-out food establishments P P P P ~ P -Restaurants and soda fountains including drive-ins and take- out food establishments P C C C ~ C Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton. Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption. INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on August 10, 1982. ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on August 24, 1982, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Kohr, Wood and Mayor Butler NOES: None
