CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAJ.~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1043 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 7.1 ACRES LOCATED AT TIlE NORTHERN TE~CIrIUS OF PLEASAUTON AVENUE FROK THE C-S (CO~R~RCIAL SERVICE) AIID R-1-6500 DISTRICTS TO THE PUD-t!IGt! DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT V~IEP~AS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to have an approximately 7.1 acre site located at the northern terminus of Pleasanton Avenue from the C-S (Commercial Service) and R-1-6500 Districts to the PUD-High Density Residential District; and V~tEP~AS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment a negative declaration was adopted by Council covering the subject property in conjunction with a General Plan amendment on Cctober 14, 1980; and WtlEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recom~enda- - tion for approval of the rezoning; and WtIEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 13, 1982; and ~,~IEP~AS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton; TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 7.1 acre site located at the northern terminus of Pleasanton Avenue from the C-S (Corm?_ercial Service) and R-1-6500 Districts to the PUD-tligh Density Residential District. Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map ~259, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" dated July 13, 1982, and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.z~(g) of Resolution No. 77-66.
