MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> April 19, 2011 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Vice Mayor Cook-Kallio called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. <br /> Councilmember Thorne led the Pledge of Allegiance, provided introductory remarks and <br /> honored Army Specialist Jameson Lindskog, Pleasanton's first fallen hero in the Global War on <br /> Terror. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Vice Mayor Cook-Kallio <br /> Absent: Mayor Hosterman <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Lowell reported that the Council met in Closed Session for conference with legal <br /> counsel regarding existing litigation on three matters: Lin vs. City of Pleasanton and the two <br /> workers' compensation matters listed in the agenda, and for conference with labor negotiators <br /> regarding PCEA negotiations. In all instances, the Council took no reportable action. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho stated that Item 7 is has been pulled upon request of staff. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved regular meeting minutes of March 1, and March 15, 2011 and Special meeting <br /> minutes of February 1, 8, 10, 15, 2011 and March 1, 15, 23, 31, 2011 <br /> 2. Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 11-433 implementing provisions of <br /> Internal Revenue Code 414(H)(2) to tax defer member contributions for California Public <br /> Employees' Retirement Systems (CALPERS) <br /> City Attorney <br /> 3. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2019 an Omnibus Ordinance <br /> amending the Municipal Code regarding: timing to file a claim against the City; references <br /> to the LPFD; update handbill restrictions; allow administrative citations for storm water <br /> violations; clarify anti-scavenging prohibitions; update parade regulations; delete Traffic <br /> Appendix; update water turn off and reconnection charges; clarify tree preservation <br /> appeals process; correct internal references in the Zoning Code; update titles and <br /> reference the Master Fee Schedule for subdivisions <br />
