-- CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAI~EDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1041 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO REZONE TIlE LOTS ON THE EAST SIDE OF ~!AIN STREET BET~EEN ABBIE STKEET AND THE SOUTHEP~] PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY TRACKS FROIt THE "O/C-O" (OFFICE-CIVIC OVERLAY) DISTRICT TO THE "C-C/C-O" (CENTP~L COI.~.~ERCIAL-CIVIC OVERLAY) DISTRICT WtlEREAS, the City of Pleasanton applied to have the lots on the east side of Main Street between Abbie Street and the Southern Pacific Transportation Company tracks rezoned from the "O/C-O" (Office- Civic Overlay) District to the "C-C/C-O" (Central Commercial-Civic Overlay) District; and ~tEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment a negative declaration was adopted by Council on June 22, 1982; and WttEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommenda- tion for approval of the rezoning; and WtlEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on June 22, 1982; and ~IEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the rezoning of the lots on the east side of Main Street between Abbie Street and the Southern Pacific Transportation Company tracks from the "O/C-O" (Office-Civic Overlay) District to the "C-C/C-O" (Central Comnercial-Civic Overlay) District. Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map ~-258, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" dated June 23,1982, and incorporated herein by reference.
