CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1218 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF PLEASANTON SCHOOL DISTRICT, <br /> AMADOR SAVINGS AND LOAN AND CHRIS BERATLIS TO REZONE <br /> APPROXIMATELY 22.3 ACRES LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF <br /> CRELLIN ROAD, IMMEDIATELY EAST OF THE RESIDENCES ON THE <br /> EAST SIDE OF SYLVANER DRIVE AND 600 FEET SOUTHEAST OF <br /> CHARDONNAY DRIVE, FROM THE "P" (PUBLIC AND <br /> INSTITUTIONAL) DISTRICT TO THE "R-1-6500" (SINGLE-FAMILY <br /> RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT AND TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 1.1 <br /> ACRES FROM THE "A" (AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT TO THE <br /> "R-1-6500" (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT, AND <br /> FINALLY TO REZONE 1.2 ACRES FROM THE "P" (PUBLIC AND <br /> INSTITUTIONAL) DISTRICT TO THE "A" (AGRICULTURAL) <br /> DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pleasanton School District, Amador Savings and Loan and <br /> Chris Beratlis applied to have an approximately 22.3 <br /> acre site located on the north side of Crellin Road, <br /> immediately east of the residences on the east side of <br /> Sylvaner Drive and 600 feet southeast of Chardonnay <br /> Drive, rezoned from the "P" (Public and Institutional) <br /> District to the "R-1-6500) (Single-family Residential) <br /> District and to rezone approximately 1.1 acres from the <br /> "A" (Agricultural) District to the "R-1-6500" <br /> (Single-Family Residential) District, and to rezone <br /> approximately 1.1 acres from the "P" (Public and <br /> Institutional) District to the "A" (Agricultural) <br /> District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment, a <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> September 17, 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 17, <br /> 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent <br /> with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 22.3 acre <br /> site located on the north side of Crellin Road, <br /> immediately east of the residences on the east side of <br /> <br /> <br />
