RESOLUTION NO. 11438 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> APPROVING THE INVESTMENT POLICY AND GUIDELINES OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code § §53601 and 53635, the City's Investment <br /> Policy and Guidelines must be submitted to Council annually for adoption; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff presented to Council such a policy document for 2011/12FY on April <br /> 19, 2011; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff is recommending approval of the policies and guidelines outlined in <br /> that document. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Adopt the Investment Policy and Guidelines for 2011/12FY as reflected in <br /> Attachment B. <br /> SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into <br /> the book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on April 19, 2011. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on April 19, 2011 by the <br /> following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Vice Mayor Cook- Kallio <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: Mayor Hosterman <br /> Abstain: None <br /> Kare Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Jonathan P.
