CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03-036 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />TO AMEND THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE <br />REGARDING GENERATOR SITING REQUIREMENTS, AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE PRZ-7 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 15, 2003, the City Council received a proposed negative <br />declaration for the application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code to provide for a generator siting ordinance that would establish <br />locational, design, operation, and noise requirements as well as City review <br />procedures for electricity generator facilities, as filed under Case PRZ-7; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study dated December 4, 2002, <br /> and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br /> opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed project would not have any significant <br /> adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
