CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1214 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF GEF FINANCIAL CORPORATION <br /> FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL TO CONSTRUCT A TWO AND <br /> THREE STORY, 132-UNIT RETIREMENT HOTEL COMPLEX ON AN <br /> APPROXIMATELY 2.5 ACRE SITE LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST <br /> CORNER OF FOOTHILL ROAD AND STONERIDGE DRIVE (PUD-85-9) <br />WHEREAS, applied for development plan approval for construction <br /> of a 132-unit retirement hotel complex on an <br /> approximately 2.5 acre site located on the southeast <br /> corner of Foothill Road and Stoneridge drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on August 20, 1985; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's and Human <br /> Services Commission's recommendation for approval of the <br /> development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on August 20, <br /> 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the development plan for a 132-unit <br /> retirement hotel complex on an approximately 2.5 acre <br /> site located on the southeast corner of Foothill Road <br /> and Stoneridge drive, subject to the conditions on <br /> Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference <br /> incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of <br /> Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of <br /> Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Tri-Valley Herald," <br /> a newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
