On December 7, 2010, the City Council <br /> approved the Harrington Public Art Acquisition Plan and the implementation of "Phase <br /> One" of the Plan. <br /> On behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Harrington, staff is requesting that the City Council approve <br /> the proposed artworks as "Phase Two" of the Harrington Public Art Acquisition Plan. <br /> CIVIC ARTS COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION <br /> That the City Council approve the proposed artworks as "Phase Two" of the Harrington <br /> Public Art Acquisition Plan. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> That the City Council approve the proposed artworks as "Phase Two" of the Harrington <br /> Public Art Acquisition Plan. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for the acquisition of all 14 artworks will be provided by Nancy and Gary <br /> Harrington and other private donors. Incidental costs for site preparation, or installation <br /> and signage will be borne by the City from its Public Art Acquisition Fund. <br /> Approximately $45,800 is currently available in the Fund, and is included in the FY <br /> 2011/2012 Budget. <br />
