Basis of the appeal <br />We can't accept the conditions the Planning Commission wants to attach <br />to our permit to add a second -story window to an existing structure. <br />We would accept the ruling if the city applied the same conditions to <br />every home owner who wants a second -story window. If it only depends on a <br />neighbor's complaint, that's not fair. Our contesting neighbor has windows <br />and sliding glass doors and a balcony overlooking their neighbors' property, <br />including ours. They also have a raised deck adjacent to our mutual fence <br />which takes away all our backyard privacy.
