CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 03-040 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA LAW ENFORCEMENT TECHNOLOGY GRANT AS <br />RECOMMENDED <br /> <br />at its meeting of May 6, 2003, the Chief of Police presented a staff report <br />(SR 03:125) describing the recommendations for use of the Law Enforcement <br />Technology Grant received from the State of California in accordance with <br />Assembly Bill 1740. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council hereby approves the recommendations for expenditures of the <br />Law Enforcement Technology Grant funds, as follows: <br /> <br />Training materials for bob detection dog $ 1,000.00 <br />Wireless Connectors for dispatcher radio headsets$ 2,116.80 <br />Replace property and evidence room refrigerator $ 2,452.26 <br />Upgrade Wireless Network to transmit data <br /> via Mobile Data Computers <br /> <br />$20,000.00 <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
