CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1206 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5-6.05, ARTICLE 2, <br /> CHAPTER 6 (DECREASE IN STATE SPEED LIMIT IN CERTAIN <br /> ZONES), TITLE V (VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, STREETS AND <br /> HIGHWAYS) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Subsections s-3, s-4, s-4a, s-9 and s-10 of Section <br /> 5-6.05, Article 2, Chapter 6 of Title V are hereby <br /> deleted. <br />Section 2: Section 5-6.05, Article 2, Chapter 6 of Title V is <br /> hereby amended by adding subsections s-3 and s-9 to read <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> s-3 Santa Rita Road. On Santa Rita Road from Mohr <br /> Avenue to 1-580 the speed limit shall be 45 miles <br /> per hour. <br /> <br /> s-9 Sunol Boulevard. On Sunol Boulevard from Sonoma <br /> Drive to First Street the speed limit shall be 35 <br /> miles per hour. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times" a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> Section 4: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on July 2, 1985. <br /> <br /> <br />
