LifeSize has many codecs (Video Conferencing Systems) that could be used to answer this RFP and specifically answer the component /suite offering under the category "LifeSize Video" (page 4). Both LifeSize and ExtraTeam believe that the ideal combination of price and functionality could only be handled by the Express 220 Cociec vs. the lower priced Passport or even Express /200 model systems. This is because the Express 220 is the only product in this price range that has the ability to directly connect to the LifeSize Video Center recording /streaming /archiving solution. Simply, what this means is that a recording stream can be initiated by "one touch" on the LifeSize remote to start a recorded session between an Express 220 and it's "federated" VideoCenter. For training sessions, or any important meeting/session that needs to be recorded and archived this gives instant capabilities and security. The Passport systems or any other LifeSize model prior to the Express 220 series cannot initiate a "one touch" or a direct call to the the VideoCenter and cannot be in a call with any other location and initiate a recording. Based on your needs for recording and streaming for training purposes the only option we are going to recommend is the Express 220 in combination with the LifeSize VideoCenter. • Supports Full high definition 1920 x 1080 resolution and progressive video at 30 frames per second at a bandwidth requirement of only 1.7 Mbps and higher, true high definition 1280 x720 resolution and progressive video at 60 and 30 frames per second at a bandwidth requirement of only 768 kbps and higher. • Delivers full frame rate at any bandwidth and able to gradually reduce resolution at lower bandwidths while maim:aining full frame rate for the best experience and broad interoperability. 12
