Attachment 3 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ACCEPTING INTO THE CITY STREET SYSTEM PORTIONS OF STREETS WITHIN <br /> THE VINEYARD AVENUE CORRIDOR SPECIFIC PLAN AREA AND THE BERNEL <br /> PROPERTY SPECIFIC PLAN AREA <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Streets & Highways Code §1806(b), the City Council must <br /> accept streets and roads into the City street system; and <br /> WHEREAS, to eliminate any confusion with the Alameda County Recorder's Office, the <br /> City Council is formally accepting into the City street system portions of streets within the <br /> Vineyard Avenue Corridor Specific Plan area, as well as the Bernal Property Specific Plan area. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council accepts into the City street system those portions of <br /> streets described as: (A) Pleasanton Avenue northeast from the intersection of Laguna Creek <br /> Lane and Valley Avenue; and (B) new Vineyard Avenue between Clara Lane and Machedo <br /> Place, as shown more particularly in the attached Exhibits A and B, incorporated herein by this <br /> reference; and directs City staff to record the same with the Alameda County Recorder's Office, <br /> as needed. <br /> SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into <br /> the book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVE[) AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 15 day of March, <br /> 2011 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: <br /> Noes: <br /> Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Jonathan Lowell, City Attorney <br />
