Post Installation Service and Maintenance — Our technicians can be quickly dispatched <br />on -site to resolve any maintenance needs for the Department. CDCE has the knowledge, <br />staff, and interest as a local California integrator to service the Department like no other <br />company. We look forward to developing a strong business relationship with the <br />Livermore and Pleasanton. <br />System Testing and Acceptance <br />CDCE will work with LPFD, prior to installations. to establish a detailed scope of work <br />and ensure that all hardware complies with the guidelines of the contract. In addition, the <br />scope of work will establish the installation requirements and be used to verify that <br />CDCE's design and craftsmanship meet the expectations of the department. <br />Warranty and Post Implementation Support <br />Support Resources — There are several available resources for ongoing technical <br />support. Our solution includes products from a multitude of vendors, and along with our <br />manufacturers, we will be able to assist LPFD in the event that technical issues arise. <br />For Panasonic products, including the Toughbook PDRC and CF -31, LPFD can access <br />Panasonic technical support at (800) LAPTOP -5, 24x7 Panasonic can help diagnose <br />problems, coordinate repair services, and arrange product repair shipments. In addition, <br />CDCE's support desk is available 8am — 5pm, Monday — Friday, at (800) 373 -5353. <br />CDCE's technicians are familiar with all of the products CDCE installs, so they are able <br />to address a wider range of technical issues, including docking station, antenna, and <br />connectivity problems within each vehicle. The CDCE support desk will work directly <br />with LPFD to diagnose and repair all products, including those from Havis, Lind, and <br />Panasonic. <br />Installation Warranty — CDCE warrants installation work for 1 year from the date that <br />the service was performed. This covers all hardware installed by CDCE. LPFD can <br />contact CDCE's support desk at (800) 373 -5353 to review any installation or technical <br />concerns, and if the matter cannot be resolved over the phone, CDCE will schedule a <br />technician to further investigate the problem. CDCE will, at its sole expense, return on- <br />site to LPFD to restore functionality of the MDC system. <br />The above warranties do not apply to defects resulting from: <br />• Improper or inadequate maintenance by LPFD which is not performed by CDCE <br />as part of the MDC Support; <br />• LPFD or third party software, including supplies that are not within the scope of <br />coverage of MDC Support; <br />• Unauthorized modification; <br />• Improper use or operation outside of the Specifications for the Product; <br />• Abuse, negligence, accident, loss or damage in transit; <br />• Improper site preparation; or <br />• Unauthorized maintenance or repair. <br />e Engineered Solutions <br />
