CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 03-031 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING GROWTH MANAGEMENT <br />RE-ALLOCATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO SIGN A GROWTH MANAGEMENT <br />AGREEMENT WITH NEW CITIES DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of December 3, 2002, the City Council reviewed the 2002 Growth <br />Management Report and took public testimony concerning growth management <br />issues; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City council determined at that time that the existing allocations and proposed <br />sub-allocations for 2003-2005 were consistent with the General Plan and the <br />Growth Management Ordinance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received a request fi.om the New Cities Development Group <br /> to reallocate units approved for 2004; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the New Cities project would best be <br /> accommodated as a major project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Reaffirms the existing annual allocations for 2003, 2004, and 2005 at 400 units, <br />350 units, and 350 units, respectively. <br /> <br />Section 2: Establishes the sub-allocations for 2003, 2004, and 2005 as follows: <br /> <br /> 2003 2004 2005 <br />Major Projects 250 240 200 <br />First Come, First Served Projects 100 60 100 <br />Low-Income Projects 50 50 50 <br /> <br /> <br />
