ORDINANCE NO. 2017 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18.08 (DEFINITIONS), CHAPTER 18.44.090 <br /> (PERMITTED AND CONDITIONAL USES), AND CHAPTER 18.88.030 (SCHEDULE <br /> OF OFF - STREET PARKING SPACE REQUIREMENTS) OF THE PLEASANTON <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ -56 <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 8, 2010, the Planning Commission <br /> recommended that the City Council amend Chapter 18.08 (Definitions), 18.88.090 (Permitted <br /> and Conditional Uses), and Chapter 18.88.030 (Schedule of Off - Street Parking Space <br /> Requirements) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to reflect changes in the organization, <br /> changes in terminology used, process improvement, and language clarification; and <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 18, 2011, the City Council reviewed the report of <br /> the Director of Community Development regarding amendments to Chapter 18.08 (Definitions), <br /> 18.88.090 (Permitted and Conditional Uses), and Chapter 18.88.030 (Schedule of Off - Street <br /> Parking Space Requirements) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code and the recommendations of <br /> the Planning Commission. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the proposed amendments to the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code are consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 18.08 (Definitions), 18.88.090 (Permitted and Conditional Uses), <br /> and Chapter 18.88.030 (Schedule of Off - Street Parking Space Requirements) of the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code pertaining to the Downtown, Central Commercial (C -C) District are amended to <br /> read as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> SECTION 3. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br /> days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in <br /> the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the <br /> City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> The foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br /> City of Pleasanton on January 18, 2011 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Sullivan, Thorne, Vice Mayor Cook - Kallio <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: Councilmember McGovern, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Abstain: None <br /> And adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on <br /> February 15, 2011, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Cook - Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> 1 <br />
