CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1199 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF ANTHONY VASALLO TO REZONE <br /> APPROXIMATELY 1.96 ACRES LOCATED AT 2884 FOOTHILL ROAD <br /> FROM THE "A" (AGRICULTURAL) TO THE R-i-40,000 <br /> (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anthony Vasallo applied to have an approximately 1.96 <br /> acre site located at 2884 Foothill Road rezoned from the <br /> "A" (Agricultural) to the R-i-40,000 (Single-Family <br /> Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment, a <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on May 7, <br /> 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on May 7, 1985; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent <br /> with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 1.96 acre <br /> site located at 2884 Foothill Road from the "A" <br /> (Agricultural) to the R-i-40,000 (Single-Family <br /> Residential) District subject to the following <br /> condition: <br /> <br /> "That if the subject property is subdivided into two <br /> approximately 40,000 sq. ft. lots, vehicular access to <br /> the eastern lot shall be via the deeded access road to <br /> the south of the subject property rather than from <br /> Foothill Road." <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #313, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "A" dated May 7, 1985, and incorporated herein <br /> by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
