CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1196 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO <br /> REZONE APPROXIMATELY 1.75 ACRES LOCATED AT 607-675 ST. <br /> JOHN STREET FROM C-S (COMMERCIAL SERVICE) DISTRICT TO <br /> THE PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT)-MEDIUM DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton applied to have an approximately <br /> 1.75 acre site located at 607-675 St. John Street <br /> rezoned from C-S (Commercial Service) to the PUD <br /> (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density Residential <br /> District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicting no <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment, a <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on May 7, <br /> 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on May 7, 1985; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent <br /> with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 1.75 acre <br /> site located at 607-675 St. John Street, approximately <br /> 60 feet east of the intersection of Pleasanton Avenue <br /> and St. John Street from the C-S (Commercial Service) <br /> District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium <br /> Density Residential District, subject to the conditions <br /> on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference <br /> incorporated herein. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #311, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "B" dated May 7, 1985, and incorporated herein <br /> by reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City staff is directed to cause a Noice of <br /> Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4 (g) of <br /> Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> <br /> <br />
