PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2002-63 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />PREPARED FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON' S DRAFT ENERGY PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has prepazed a Draft Energy Plan that establishes energy <br />policy principles and an energy action plan; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 23, 2002, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declazation prepazed for the Draft Energy Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of <br />the Draft Energy Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declazations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for the City of <br />Pleasanton's Draft Energy Plan. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 23RD DAY OF OCTOBER 2002 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Arkin, Maas, Roberts, Sedlak, and Sullivan <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Kameny <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
