PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2002-58 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF REYNOLDS & BROWN <br />FOR A PUD MAJOR MODIFICATION, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />PUD-80-14-OSM <br />WHEREAS, Reynolds & Brown has applied for a modification to PUD-80-14 to <br />remove and replace the four willow trees and 18 cottonwood trees at the <br />corners of Johnson Drive and Owens Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned PUD-I/C-O (Planned Unit Development - <br />Industrial/Commercial-Office) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public heazing of September 11, 2002, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the existing trees are relatively <br />healthy and the proposed modification is not in compliance with the General <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was unable to make the required PUD findings for <br />removal of the heritage trees. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Denies Case PUD-80-14, the application of Reynolds & Brown for a <br />modification to PUD-80-14 to remove and replace the four willow trees and <br />18 cottonwood trees at the corners of Johnson Drive and Owens Drive. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
