Presentation by Pleasanton Cultural Arts Foundation <br /> Councilmember Cook - Kallio introduced Bill Butler of Pleasanton Cultural Arts Foundation <br /> (PCAF). She acknowledged several board members, as well as Debbie Look, and again <br /> thanked Mr. and Mrs. Harrington for their generosity. <br /> Bill Butler, PCAF, presented staff with a check for $120,000 on behalf of the Foundation. PCAF <br /> was created to support the building of and fundraising on behalf of the Firehouse Arts Center. <br /> The Foundation has completed its mission and to date has raised a little over $2 million in <br /> pledges. <br /> 14. Commendations to PUSD Board members Jim Ott and Pat Kernan <br /> Councilmember Cook - Kallio read the commendation recognizing Pat Kernan for his 14 years of <br /> service on the PUSD Board. <br /> Mr. Kernan thanked the Council and community for their strong support for schools. He also <br /> thanked both current and past staff members, who get little of the recognition and accepted the <br /> commendation on behalf of all current and past members of the board. <br /> Councilmember Cook - Kallio read the commendation recognizing Jim Ott for his service on the <br /> PUSD Board. <br /> Mr. Ott said Pleasanton is the great community it is because of the partnership between the City <br /> and the school district.
