Resolution No. PC-2002-51 <br />Page 16 <br />Engineering Requirements: <br />71. The southern portion of the western parking lot shall be moved east by <br />approximately two feet to increase the capacity of the bioswale between the <br />western parking lot and the western side property line. <br />72. The applicant shall be responsible for the design and installation cost of a new curb <br />along the Sunol Boulevard paved area from the point where an extension of the <br />northern property line of the site would intersect the edge of Sunol Boulevard <br />street pavement south to the existing curb at the intersection of Sunol Boulevard <br />and Junipero Street. The top of this curb shall be flush with the top of the street <br />pavement so that stormwater would flow from the street into the landscaped area <br />west of the street pavement. Prior to issuance of a building permit, details of the <br />design of this improvement shall be subject to the review and approval by the City <br />Engineer and the Planning Director. The City will reimburse the applicant for the <br />cost of this off-site improvement. The applicant is not responsible for widening <br />the Sunol Boulevard paved area or for installing new conduit storm drain <br />improvements in this area. <br />73. The new driveways to be installed by the developer shall meet the design and <br />material requirements in the City's "Standard Specifications and Details" manual. <br />74. All utilities required to serve the proposed development on-site shall be installed <br />underground, unless otherwise determined by the City Engineer. <br />75. The project developer shall comply with the recommendations of the geotechnical <br />report prepared by Treadwell and Rollo dated July 17, 2001. The project <br />developer's geotechnical consultant shall review and approve all foundation, <br />retaining wall, and drainage geotechnical aspects of the final development plans to <br />ensure that the recommendations have been properly incorporated into the <br />development. The consultant shall certify by writing on the plans or as otherwise <br />acceptable to the Director of Building Inspection that the final development plan is <br />in conformance with the geotechnical report approved with the project. <br />76. The project developer shall arrange and pay for the geotechnical consultant to <br />inspect and approve all foundation, retaining, and wall and drainage geotechnical <br />aspects of project construction. The consultant shall be present on site during <br />grading and excavation operations. The results of the inspections and the as-built <br />
