PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2002-50 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />APPLICATION OF BRIDGE HOUSING CORPORATION FOR REZONING AND <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-20 <br />WHEREAS, BRIDGE Housing Corporation has applied for rezoning to PUD-HDR (Planned <br />Unit Development-High Density Residential) District and development plan <br />approval to construct atwo-story, 59,581-squaze-foot, 105-unit assisted living <br />facility on an approximately 3.59-acre pazcel located at 100 Junipero Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned A (Agricultural); and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 14, 2002, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declazation prepazed for Case PUD-20; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of <br />the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declazations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project will have no <br />potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case PUD-20, the <br />application of BRIDGE Housing Corporation for rezoning to PUD-HDR (Planned <br />Unit Development-High Density Residential) District and development plan <br />approval to construct atwo-story, 59,581-square-foot, 105-unit assisted living <br />facility on an approximately 3.59-acre parcel located at 100 Junipero Street. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
