All on- and off-site improvements and building construction activities shall be <br />limited to the construction hours and regulations described below: <br />(a) On-site Improvements and Building Construction <br />(i) Construction activities are limited to 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday <br />through Friday. "Quieter" work that generates low-noise levels is <br />also allowed from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., <br />Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. <br />(ii) Interior construction taking place completely within an enclosed <br />structure (i.e., a building with walls, windows, doors, and a roof) <br />shall be unlimited; deliveries, however, shall be limited to 8:00 a.m. <br />to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Windows and doors shall <br />remain closed during construction. <br />(iii) If future complaints are received regarding the extended construction <br />hours, the Planning Director may modify or revoke the extended <br />construction hours. <br />(iv) All construction equipment must meet DMV noise standards and <br />shall be equipped with muffling devices. <br />(b) Sunol Boulevard Street Improvements <br />(i) Construction outside of the existing traffic lanes (e.g., widening the <br />roadway) shall be limited to 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through <br />Friday. Work that generates low-noise levels (e.g., surveying and <br />staking, setting forms for curb and gutter, laying/pulling electrical <br />
