PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2002-48 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />APPLIED BIOSYSTEMS FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO AN APPROVED <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-98-07-2M <br />WHEREAS, Applied Biosystems has applied for a major modification to an approved Planned <br />Unit Development (PUD-98-07) to modify the approved construction hours for the <br />Applied Biosystems' project located at 6001-6085 Sunol Boulevard; and <br />WHEREAS, caning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I (Industrial) District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of July 24, 2002, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed major modification to the <br />PUD development plan, as conditioned, would provide the applicant with <br />additional construction hours while still protecting the adjacent neighbors from <br />adverse impacts. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-98-07-2M, the application of Applied <br />Biosystems for a major modification to an approved Planned Unit Development <br />(PUD-98-07) to modify the approved construction hours for the Applied <br />Biosystems' project located at 6001-6085 Sunol Boulevard, subject to the <br />conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
