PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2002-40 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF MITCHELL PEREIRA FOR <br />DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-225 <br />WHEREAS, Mitchell Pereira has applied for design review approval to construct an <br />approximately 7,865-squaze-foot, two-story commercial/office building on a portion <br />of an existing Pleasanton Station development located at 55 West Angela Street; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C-O (Commercial - <br />Office) District and Downtown Revitalization District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of July 10, 2002, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposal fulfills the applicable <br />requirements of the Pleasanton Downtown Specific Plan and the Downtown <br />Design Guidelines, and complements the chazacter of the surrounding azea. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves Case PDR-225, the application of Mitchell Pereira for design review <br />approval to construct an approximately 7,865-square-foot, two-story <br />commercial/office building on a portion of an existing Pleasanton Station <br />development located at 55 West Angela Street, subject to the conditions shown in <br />Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
