PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2002-39 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF JERRY AND LAURA RANEY <br />FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-226 <br />WHEREAS, Jerry and Laura Raney have applied for design review approval to construct a 4,218- <br />square-foot office building, modifying a previous design review approval for a <br />3,305-square-foot building located at 344 Division Street; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central-Commercial) District and Downtown <br />Revitalization District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of July 10, 2002, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed building meets all <br />applicable requirements of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, Downtown Specific <br />Plan, and the Downtown Design Guidelines; and complements the existing <br />buildings in the surrounding area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves Case PDR-226, the application of Jerry and Laura Raney for design <br />review approval to construct a 4,218-square-foot office building located at 344 <br />Division Street, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and <br />made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
